Education Coordinator - Bilingual
A leading Birthright Israel provider is looking for an Education Coordinator to work from our Jerusalem office.
* Work is in English and Hebrew
* Office in central Jerusalem, Rechavia
* Full time position, Sunday through Thursday, with global hours during “on season” - flexibility required.
Education Coordinator Responsibilities:
The Education Coordinator is responsible for managing the staff and field coordinators of our Birthright program, and ensuring the quality of the educational program. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Hiring, training and managing field coordinators
• Training US staff
• Meeting and training Israeli staff
• Checking itineraries programs, help designing new programs
• Coordinating niche and specialty programs
• Travelling with and staying with groups to ensure quality control
• Giving over rules and regulations, and enforcing them
• Support staff in the field
• Ensuring the smooth running of the trip
• Deal with situations and emergencies
• Connecting with and inspiring students
• Working with Jewish organizations, and specifically “Chabad on Campus”
• Working with various platforms including Mailchimp, Excel, ours and Birthright’s custom CRM systems
• Processing of staff applications from registration through to group assignments
• General customer service – phone calls, emails, general processing etc…
Candidates must have the following skills:
• Extensive knowledge and passion for Israel and Judaism
• Experience working with Jewish youth and Birthright an advantage
• Must be able to work as part of a team and have excellent people skills
• Highly organized, reliable, and dependable
• Work well under pressure and be able to multitask
• Friendly and positive personality, with strong communication skills
• Language skills: High level English and Hebrew required
• Positive, resourceful, proactive – "Rosh Gadol".
·        Strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
·        Flexible in terms of hours, and in terms of job given that work fluctuates with season.
·        Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·        High level computer/internet savvines
·        Quick Learner
