Looking for a full time Accountant in Israel who will reporting to the CFO based in Los Angeles, CA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance and 4-6 years of relevant working experience;
• Advanced Excel;
• Working knowledge/experience with QuickBooks preferred;
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
• Ability to interpret accounting guidance and regulations;
• Strong attention to detail with ability to process data efficiently and accurately;
• Ability to adapt to change;
• Strong Communication skills;
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, execute efficiently and independently in a deadline driven environment;
• Experience with financial closing process and account reconciliation; and
• Ability to be self-motivated and to effectively manage multiple projects

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and process general ledger entries for all transactional aspects of the accounting cycle, including but not limited to cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory;
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial balances and accounts maintained in the General Ledger;
• Prepare reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements in a timely manner;
• Gather and analyze data from the general ledger to assist in preparing consolidated financial statements;
• Prepare payments and journal entries of accrued expenses;
• Analyze and prepare financial statement reports and spreadsheets
• Process, prepare and enter financial data, including but not limited to invoices, expense reports, company payments, customer payments and credit card purchases;
• Monitor the aging of accounts receivable and make necessary collection calls on overdue invoices;
• Assist with planning and administering the month-end and year-end close process to satisfy the financial reporting cycle;
• Assist with departmental documentation, including work instructions, policies, procedures, forms and templates;
• Identifies risk to the organization and communicates that risk to management, and protect confidential information, including, but not limited to, business trade secrets and protected health information;
• One of the primary points of contact for accounting inquiries/questions for both the finance department, as well as cross departmental teams;
• Lead special finance department projects; and
• Perform other related duties as assigned
